My overlay of Mate tools and desktop apps is here.įYI, I've manually installed the avs+ headers and successfully built the ffmpeg source code from git. If I use it now will it just enable Avisynth+ instead because the docs are behind, or is there something different I have to do now? All I see is the old USE=avs flag that uses avxsynth. Since 4.3, ffmpeg has switched from avxsynth (which is equivalent to 15-year-old avs 2.5) to avisynth+, but I don't see a use flag for it in Gentoo yet. So one of the main reasons I've kept Windows around all these years is the quality of video tools like AVISynth, but now that ffmpeg has official support for AVISynth+ I'm that much closer to being able to ditch it finally.
